In this session, participants will:

1. Explain mindfulness, energy psychology, the connection between mindfulness practices and energy psychology.

2. Describe the paradox between mindfulness and energy psychology and how they can be used together for the benefit of emotional regulation

3. Describe skills in the areas of visualization, movement, acupressure, and body focal points

4. Practice skills in the areas of visualization, movement, acupressure, and body focal points

5. Discuss and summarize how to adapt strategies for youth across the grades of K-12

6. Discuss the limitations and risks of mindfulness and energy psychology and areas of ongoing or future research regarding effectiveness of mindfulness and energy psychology with school-age populations.
