CSCA Ethical Standards
As a chartered division of the American School Counselor Association, members of the Connecticut affiliate (CSCA) are bound by ASCA Ethical Standards for School Counselors. This document adopted by the ASCA Delegate Assembly in 1984 has been revised five times since its inception. The last revision was completed in 2022. ASCA's ethical code demands the highest standards for the profession. It addresses counselors' responsibilities to students, parents/guardians, colleagues and professional associates, school and community and to the profession.
