CSCA is so excited to partner with Porter and Chester Institute to offer an exciting opportunity to school counselors -- a full day PD event with Dr. Adam L. Saenz, author of The Power of a Teacher: Restoring Hope and Well-Being to Change Lives.  Dr. Saenz has a Ph.D. in School Psychology and maintains a clinical practice at the Oakwood Collaborative.  He is a sought-after consultant for school districts across the country and has been featured on TEDTalks (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyogyD7vXbw)

Anyone and everyone in education has the power to make a tremendous impact in the life of any student. The call to education, while deeply rewarding, can also be deeply depleting. Through these sessions, licensed psychologist Dr. Adams Saenz, will encourage you by presenting two case studies that illustrate the power of effective relationships to impact student outcomes. He will also equip you by offering practical strategies you can implement today to maintain personal well-being and manage your stress effectively as you engage your calling in education with passion and vision.

The cost of this event is $25 for CSCA Members and $40 for non-CSCA members.  Please share this event with other members of your school community who may be interested, but are not school counselors/CSCA members.

Participants will also have the opportunity to tour Porter and Chester's BRAND NEW Waterbury facility!
