MTSS Tier 2 Training

This day long training will focus on all aspects of Tier 2:

* Identifying students in need of academic, social/emotional, behavioral, college/career development support

*Developing/supporting an effective MTSS team (Tier 1 and Advanced Tiers)

*Selecting 4-5 evidence based culturally affirming Tier 2 interventions that address common barriers to learning at your site

*Creating a "Tier 2 Kit" for your elementary, middle or high school students focused on emotional regulation. All the materials you need will be provided. You will take your kit back to your school to begin implementing.

*Planning your data collection and analysis process to ensure student are benefitting from their Tier 2 experience.

You will leave this training with strategies to implement Tier 2 interventions in your schools effectively and efficiently. The afternoon session will include making the Tier 2 Kit together and discussing best practices in group intervention.
