AFSP 'Out of the Darkness' Walk 

On September 28th we will be doing our part in joining the community of nearly 250k people walking in hundreds of cities across the country in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.

CSCA is putting a team together for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention ‘Out of the Darkness’ Walk again this year to fight suicide and support AFSP's bold goal to reduce the suicide rate 20% by 2025. CSCA has organized a walk team for the past four years and our members have raised over $5000 to support this cause!

Please consider walking with us on Saturday September 28, 2019 at Great River Park in East Hartford for the 'Out of the Darkness Hartford Walk' in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. #StopSuicide 

If you are going to walk with the CSCA Team, please do the following:

1. RSVP to this CSCA event so we know how many people to look out for the day of the event.  We will contact you about where we can all meet up on walk day!

3. (Optional) Set a personal fundraising goal and/or share information about AFSP and the importance of this event on social media

4. (Optional) Wear a school counseling t-shirt on walk day to show how many CT school counselors support this cause
